Mohammed K. Ali
Dr. Mohammed K. Ali, who leads the CARRS Administrative and Field Coordination Core, has won this year's American Diabetes Association's (ADA) "Kelly West Award." This award recognizes meaningful work in the field of diabetes epidemiology.
Dr. Ali has led national and global efforts to advance diabetes research and prevention, spearheading epidemiologic studies and trials to better understand and reduce gaps in care.
KM Venkat Narayan
Dr. Venkat Narayan, Principal Investigator for CARRS, has been named a 2025 Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
This recognition reflects Dr. Narayan’s far-reaching contributions to diabetes and noncommunicable diseases globally.
Through his leadership and sustained commitment, he continues to foster collaboration and drive impactful research
